Restore Process Update

The Restore Process is entering the final stage, which is stage three. The small cohort meetings with pastors, staff members and lay leaders of the association, which was stage two, completed in August. The months of May through August were spent meeting with the pastors, pastoral staff members and lay leaders of the association discussing the association assessment, discussing current reality and future direction. God has greatly blessed the cohort meetings.

Three large cohort meetings will be held in September. The dates of the three Large Cohort Meetings will be held on the following dates:

        Thursday, September 10

            --- The cohort will meet from 1:00-2:30

        Thursday, September 17

             ---The cohort will meet from 1:00-2:30

        Tuesday, September 22

            ---The cohort will meet from 1:00-2:30

 Each Large Cohort Meeting will have ten to twelve (10-12) participants. The cohort discussions focus on developing:

          1. The Purpose Statement 

          2. The Priority Statement

          3. The Plan (an Implementation Strategy)

In October, at the annual meeting, the final recommendation will be presented for approval. Lois and Judy will be contacting each pastor, pastoral staff members and lay leaders to schedule their attendance and participation on one of the above three dates.
