Missions

There is a great need for the Gospel! It is estimated that 8 out of 10 people in the Lancaster area don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10).

He has tasked the local church with this mission, too. The Moriah Baptist Association has a heart for helping churches accomplish this mission. After all, our building is called the Moriah Missions Center!

Whether a church wants to host a conference to train local youth pastors or teach leaders how to take church outside the walls, our Association can help. Want to plan a community outreach, like a sunrise service or a block party? We may be able to assist you.

We can assist with the publication of events through our public Facebook page called the Moriah Baptist Association of Churches and a Facebook group for our pastors and their pastoral staff called Moriah Pastors/Pastoral Staff.  We have the ability to send group emails and texts to our pastors, too.

The Moriah Baptist Association also has access to funds managed by the South Carolina Baptist Convention through their Associational Assistance strategy.

Partner with us to impact lostness in our county. Reach out via email: moriahbaptistsc@gmail.com or give us a call at 803.283.8409.

Pastor Bryant Blakley, New Horizon, Community Church, talks to the children at Caroline Court. He and his church spend time in this neighborhood regularly.
