Our mission is to help both the members of Moriah Baptist Association and others in the surrounding community by encouraging them to discover God’s plan for their lives so that they better know to respond to their personal crisis and to learn biblically-based skills that will lead to personal and spiritual growth.
Counseling
Living Hope Counseling Center provides biblical counseling in the following areas:
• Marriage
• Divorce Recovery
• Premarital Counseling
• Addiction Recovery
• Emotional problem (fear,anxiety,etc.)
• Depression and Suffering
Scheduling a Session
The Living Hope Counseling Center exists as an outreach ministry of Moriah Baptist Association, Lancaster.
Sessions are with Dr. Patti Steen and are conducted in 50-minutes increments in a confidential setting.

Before Your Initial Visit
Please print off and complete the Personal Data Inventory and bring to your first appointment with Dr. Steen.
Also print off and sign the Signature form and bring it with you to your initial appointment.

About Patti M. Steen
Patricia Steen received a Bachelor of Music Degree from Columbia College in 1984. In the twenty years after graduating, she taught music in public and private schools and served as choral director in several churches. In 2006, she received the Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Since then, she founded the Living Hope Counseling Center as a ministry. To better meet the counseling needs of the community, the ministry is now a part of the Moriah Baptist Association. In 2019, Patti received the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She and her husband, Glenn, have developed a Bible study called “We Two Are One”. Together, they lead conferences on marriage renewal, both nationally and internationally. Glenn and Patti have been married for more than 40 years. They have three daughters and seven grandchildren. In addition to time with family, they enjoy traveling, time at Surfside Beach and watching college football.
Dr. Patti Steen and her husband, Glenn, are also Facilitators for the We Two Are One: Foundations for a Biblical Marriage series. Whether through a conference breakout session or an extensive weekend marriage retreat, Living Hope Counseling Center offers seminars for various needs.
